There is something special about seeing the next generation lead.

Last night, our students led our church in worship, creating space to slow down, focus on God, and worship together. We are grateful for every student who served and for everyone who joined us for this meaningful evening.

We received this note from the Food Bank of Lincoln and wanted to share it with everyone who packed bags, donated, served, and prayed this year. Thank you for making a difference! 💙

"With the school year coming to a close, I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to all of you for your part in getting kids in Southeast Nebraska fed.

With your help, nearly 2,400 students took home backpacks each week. That means 2,400 students were given hope in a food bag, and they and their families had food they could count on over the weekend.

This school year was challenging, and the need increased across the state as food insecurity impacted more families than ever. Despite that, you showed up with unwavering support and generosity.

The Food Bank of Lincoln could not make the impact we do without each and every one of you, so THANK YOU! We hope everyone has a great summer break, and we can't wait to welcome you back for more Hope in a Food Bag work."
