We're a church family that began in the 1900’s when Sister Lovey McAfee Nesbit determined that her rural community of Pickneyville in Norcross, GA desperately needed a Sunday School; equipped with a clear vision and strong faith i

n God, Sister Nesbit organized the Sunday School in a local schoolhouse with the support of a Methodist preacher as superintendent and two Baptist teachers and Central Baptist Church was formed; over a hundred years later-we still remain, faithful, strong in our faith and committed to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Two things make Sunday morning services great: Confessions of Faith and Baptisms.

Our church is blessed. We do not let church tradition rule; instead, we let the righteousness of God rule. If you bring a soul to Christ, you will assist in their baptism.

Watching a mother baptize her son and granddaughter is a wonderful experience.

Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned (Mark 16:16).

Baptism services are one of my favorite worship services. This one was special because I witnessed a father baptizing his son, a mother baptizing her daughter, and I christened my grandson Zaiden.
It was a family affair.
