Ligonier Camp and Conference Center is a Christian outdoor adventure camp and retreat center located in the beautiful Laurel Highlands of western Pennsylvania. Founded in 1914 as an interdenominational ministry of the First Presbyterian Church of Pittsburgh, LCCC has a long history of ministry reaching campers across the United States and abroad. Each summer, over 1800 campers have their lives tra

nsformed by the wilderness activities, goofy games, and meaningful Bible studies. From flying through the trees on our extensive high ropes elements, to trail rides on horseback, to our exciting and raucous evening program called CLUB, our campers enjoy a wide variety of experiences during their time at LCCC. In addition to our summer programs, Ligonier is an outstanding conference center with a beautiful lodge and retreat facilities. Every year hundreds of people enjoy our property as the destination for church retreats, professional development, and school field trips.

We had a fantastic first full session of Classic Camp and Next Level with so many activities! From Bible studies to lake day, from teambuilding & high ropes challenges to crafts, new friends, and enjoying the beauty of God's creations!
Praying for these campers as they return home. And for our summer staff as they get ready for the next crew arriving on Sunday!

Summer Camp 2026 is officially underway!

We had a wonderful first check-in day yesterday and were excited to welcome campers to Ligonier Camp. Some of you may have seen reports about the storms that moved through Western Pennsylvania last evening. Thankfully, we were able to make a few adjustments to our schedule and move everyone indoors during the brief period of heavy rain and high winds.

While the storm passed through, campers and staff gathered in the Joshua House for our first Lig Live of the summer and had an amazing time together!

We’re happy to report that everyone is safe, there was no damage to camp, and we’re looking forward to a fantastic first full day of camp. Thank you for your prayers and support!

We had a wonderful commissioning service at First Presbyterian Church of Pittsburgh yesterday. What a rich history the church holds in the city and in the formation of Ligonier Camp.
Thank you FPCP for a great morning, to Rev Tom Hall for returning to lead the commissioning, and to the volunteers who provided the delicious lunch!

What do you do with 22 leadership & adventure staff who just arrived yesterday?
Play games and do teambuilding activities of course!
Yesterday we welcomed 1/2 of our college age staff into their summer home. Tomorrow we begin lifeguard training with a few more and Monday welcome the remainder of our college age staff. Keep this crew in your prayers as they train for the next 2 1/2 weeks.
