This Sunday morning at Pilgrim Reformed Church, we finished the second half of chapter 14 of the Apostle John's Gospel account, having looked at the first half earlier this month. This is a passage of great encouragement for believers, as Jesus promises us the Holy Spirit, peace of heart and mind, and everlasting life. He also promises that someday we will see Him. We will see Him with our own eyes because He still lives. And because He lives, we, too, shall live. Amen!

When our equipment, the underlying technology, and our good volunteers' skill allow, we continue to stream our services to our YouTube channel (http://www.youtube.com//streams for our older services and https://www.youtube.com//streams for later services), which saves a copy for later viewing. We've had some problems with streaming lately, but we think we have it straightened out now. A manuscript of my message - "We Will See Him", based on John 14:15-31 - can be read at http://tpohw.blogspot.com/.

We try to stream our services through YouTube each Sunday morning at our regular time of 10:30. If you would like to watch, go to YouTube and search for "Pilgrim Reformed Church". Just to keep you informed, we have the funds and are purchasing equipment to upgrade our A/V system. We'll keep you posted.

Thanks, stay healthy, and God bless!

This Sunday morning at Pilgrim Reformed Church, we heard from the Apostles Peter and Paul about the importance of obeying God and being holy. God is holy and He wants us to be holy, so He made us holy. He set us apart for the purpose of believing in and following His Son Jesus. Now it is up to us to remain holy. So please, take time to be holy, today and every day. Oh, by the way, the power was out when we began, so no streaming today. The power came back on for the last 5 minutes or so.

This Sunday morning at Pilgrim Reformed Church, we celebrated our mothers, honoring those with us now, and the memories of those who have gone on to their heavenly reward. We also looked at those who provide motherly love to others not their own. Jesus told us who our mothers are, and our brothers and sisters. Let's honor our mothers and all who showed us motherly love.

This Sunday morning at Pilgrim Reformed Church, we looked at the origin of our sacred rite of Holy Communion. Specifically, we listened as Jesus told His disciples, and us, the way to our Father in heaven. John the Baptist came to make the way ready for Jesus, and Jesus came to make the way ready for us. Both did their jobs, and the way is now ready.

This Sunday morning at Pilgrim Reformed Church, the Apostle Peter spoke to us about the critical importance of being obedient. For the Lord's sake, he claims, we should obey our human authorities, even if doing so brings hardship upon us. We should especially be obedient to God and His Son Jesus, for our reward will be great for doing so.

When our equipment, the underlying technology, and our good volunteers' skill allow, we continue to stream our services to our YouTube channel (http://www.youtube.com//streams for our older services and https://www.youtube.com//streams for later services), which saves a copy for later viewing. This Sunday morning at Pilgrim Reformed Church, we listened as the Apostle Peter spoke from his 1st letter to the early church, encouraging them, and us, to keep trusting in God's promise of salvation. Jesus led the way as the first to be resurrected, and God promises we will follow. After He was raised from the dead, Jesus told us to spread the message of salvation to all nations. The message is this, that there is forgiveness of sins for all who turn to Jesus, accepting Him as Lord.

This Sunday morning at Pilgrim Reformed Church, we returned to that first Easter so long ago, and watched as the risen Jesus began showing Himself to His followers. Thomas was not there that day, and refused to believe Jesus had been resurrected until he saw the Lord with his own eyes and touched the wounds. So Jesus came back when Thomas was there. The doubting disciple saw and touched, and believed. The rest of the disciples also believed because they saw Jesus, but because of their recorded witnessing, we too can believe, even without seeing. Blessed be our Lord!
