šŸŽ‰ What a FUN way to kick off a brand-new AWANA year! šŸ«§
We had an amazing time celebrating with a foam party! There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and LOTS of foam! šŸ˜„
AWANA meets every Sunday evening at 6:00 PM throughout the school year and is open to children ages 3 years old through 6th grade.
Weā€™d love for your child to join us each week as we learn Godā€™s Word, grow in faith, make friends, and have a whole lot of fun! ā¤ļøšŸ“–
Come be a part of AWANA! We canā€™t wait to see you next Sunday! šŸŽ‰

Everything changes because the tomb is empty.

This past Sunday, as we gathered around the Lordā€™s Table, we were reminded that the resurrection changes everything.

āœļø We no longer see Jesus as merely a teacher or martyrā€”we worship Him as our risen Savior.

šŸ•Šļø We no longer face death without hopeā€”because Christ has conquered the grave.

šŸž We no longer come to the Lordā€™s Table in despairā€”but with gratitude for what Christ has done and anticipation for the day we will feast with Him in His kingdom.

Communion is more than looking back to the cross. It is remembering a living Savior, proclaiming the gospel, and looking forward to the day when faith becomes sight.

The cross was not the end of the story. Jesus is risenā€”and He changes everything.

ā€œHe is not here, but He has risen!ā€ ā€” Luke 24:6

Congratulations to Pastor Luke on passing his ordination council this morning! The church will officially celebrate his ordination Sunday morning, July 19.

The hope of the gospel is not that we never fail.

It is that Christ was rejected so we could be accepted.

We fail.
Jesus never does.

ā€œWhen Everyone Failsā€ | Luke 22

Pastor Jeremy came prepared this Sunday with deep theological truth, gospel hope, and, apparently, profound wisdom about sword fighting.

Main takeaway: when following Jesus, maybe donā€™t start swinging. āš”ļøšŸ˜‚

ā€œWhen Everyone Failsā€ | Luke 22

Luke 22 is filled with human failure.

The disciples sleep.
Judas betrays.
Peter denies.
The leaders condemn.
But Jesus remains faithful.

That is our hopeā€”not that we never fail, but that He never does.
