Mt Tabor UCC No matter who you are, or where you are on life's journey, you're welcome here at Mt. Tabor UCC! Join us on our journey at the Mount!

We are a friendly, welcoming congregation, who enjoys worshipping God together, growing in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ, and serving our community and the world. Our church is made up of people of all ages, from families with young children and teenagers, to singles, and middle-aged and older adults. We offer Sunday School classes for all ages, a great nursery, and Children's Church for children up to first grade. There are many opportunities for fellowship and service, including the Extreme Team Kid's Club, the TLC Youth Group, the Women's Guild, the Churchmen's Fellowship, and the Holly Grove Senior Citizens. We meet regularly for Bible Study on Thursday evenings at 7pm, and have a long tradition of successful Cub and Boy Scout programs that meet weekly throughout the year. Our worship services have a traditional flavor, with exceptional music and relevant messages. Visitors and members alike are invited to participate as they feel comfortable, which is made easy by following along in our printed order of service bulletins. Come visit with us, and experience the life-changing qualities of belonging to a community of faith.

Hello, everyone. We thank God for the much needed rain!

Sunday, October 4 is World Communion Day. Mt. Tabor will be joining worshippers around the world in sharing this special occasion. We will also collect your contributions to the “Neighbors in Need, Walk in Love” UCC Fund.

Union Baptist Church has invited Mt. Tabor to attend their Annual Homecoming & Revival. Homecoming is Sunday, October 4 (tomorrow) at 2:30 pm and Revival will be Monday through Wednesday at 7:00 pm nightly. More details are in the letter on the bulletin board.

Please consider our “Cans for Kindness” fundraiser. All you need to do is save your aluminum cans, of any kind, and place them in the green recycle receptacle located just outside the fellowship hall. The cans will be recycled and the money generated will be donated to First Hope Ministries to support their continuing programs. Together we can make a difference.

There are additional announcements and important information in this week’s bulletin, which you will find at this link:https://faithconnector.s3.amazonaws.com/4059/downloads/october_4_2026.pdf
