Today was our last Cupcake Friends after 12 years and God has been good through it all!

For 12 years, this little gathering has turned into something so much bigger than cupcakes. What once was a dream given to Sis. Gainey became a reality. It became laughter you could hear before even coming in the door, conversations that healed hearts, prayers that carried us and anointed speaking!

What started as something so small, quickly became so special. It became a place where women could show up as they are and leave lighter, stronger and more encouraged than they came. So whether you came faithfully or just once or twice— you helped shape this event into what it became.

While this chapter is closing, it does feel especially meaningful right now in the season NLT is in. With knowing everything our church has and continues to walk through, being uprooted so quickly and not knowing what is next, God has quickly reminded us that this is not the end of our story, it’s just another chapter — another season.

A very special thank you to Sis. Gainey for obeying the vision God gave her. Because of her obedience, so many lives were touched and this beautiful space was created for all of us. Thank you to every lady that has supported near and far. Thank you to Pastor Minor for cooking for all of us ladies year after year. The list is endless, but thank you all!

Thank you for 12 years.
Thank you for the laughs and memories.
Thank you for being a part of something that mattered and supports the Lords work.

Cupcake Friends may be ending, but a new season will come. We’re excited to see what’s next in our journey to support WE Channels of Blessing! 💗
