Yesterday, our three newly-initiated adults, Meylin, Evelyn, and Madison, completed the "honeymoon" phase of their initiation process. (Officially known as the "Mystagogy" stage.), and are now sent forth to live as fully-initiated Catholics. However, the cycle continues! We welcomed Alicia, who moved from the Inquirer stage to the Catecumenate stage, as Father John and the assembly celebrated the Rite of Entrance into the Catechumenate. Alicia will now attend Mass weekly with our support team, and participate in many adult learning opportunities as she prepares over the next year for Baptism, Confirmation, and a seat at The Lord's Table.

What a wonderful celebration of Sister Christine's and Dotty Germano's ministry at St. Bernard's! Our 5 pm Mass on Saturday was exuberantly joyful, Father Ralph's homily was on point, and Father Jerry and St. Bernard's Music Ministry led us in a farewell blessing, followed by a lovely indoor-outdoor reception that lasted well into the evening!
