South Valley Community Church (originally the First Baptist Church of Lemoore) was established in 1886 as part of the American Baptist Churches USA. ABC-USA is divided into regions and we are in association with Growing Healthy Churches, the Northern California region of ABC-USA. GHC has a focus of helping grow healthy churches by networking, resourcing and encouraging churches in the areas of gro

wth, health, transformation, leadership development and church planting. There is not denominational control or hierarchy. Every church is self-governed and determines its own affairs. GHC comes alongside us by invitation to help when needed.

What can we expect in the last days? There are many different views that Christians hold, but one thing we can all agree on is Jesus will be coming back in power and glory. We may not know all the details but his word makes it clear his coming will make creation shake and no one will be left wondering if he has arrived.

Until that time, we must continue to be faithful. Build your life on what cannot be shaken. Look for Christ, not just the signs, and live each day like the king is coming, because he is.

"Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory." (Matthew 24:30,ESV)

Rooted is a 10-week small group discipleship experience for people in every stage of life, wherever they are in their walk with Christ. Discussions are held in a small group format - once a week. Together, you’ll explore the Bible, engage in experiences, share stories and practice rhythms essential to a healthy spiritual life!

The battle for our worship has been waging since the beginning. With borrowed power and temporary authority the enemy won't stop until he deceives God's people, that is, until Jesus returns.

The antichrist is powerful, but he is never sovereign and we can rest assured that in the end, he cannot compete with Christ. When the real King arrives, the counterfeit will be finished. 

People get ready, Jesus is coming, soon we'll be going home. 

Love the truth.
Endure with confidence.
Pursue holiness.
