To any and all those who may be interested: In February there is a Celebrate Recovery Training Conference in our area coming. It will be in San Jose on February 21-22. It is a great opportunity to learn how to properly run a Celebrate Recovery Program and ask questions of the Reginal Training Coaches. Pray about it and put it on your calendar. Hope to see you there.
God bless and have a great day.

"When we are filled with pride, we cannot see our weaknesses. We build walls of denial that are almost impregnable. If we cannot admit our faults, they will never be corrected, and we will suffer the consequences. On the other hand, humility opens the door for correction. When we honestly evaluate our life, we can see our weaknesses and take steps to improve and correct them. This may be painful now, but it will b much more bearable than the pain of a life destroyed by a dependency and a compulsion."
Proverbs 18-12
Haughtiness goes before destruction; humility precedes honor.

Celebrate Recovery can help us find the tools to take an honest look at ourselves and begin the healing process with the help of our Lord and Savior.
Join us on Friday night in the Chapel at 6:15 for a meal and fellowship. You will find support, love and healing for any and all of lives struggles.
Have a blessed day

Just like the widow who trusted Elijah that God would provide, when we are powerless and at the end of our rope, all we need do is call out to God. He will take care of us and deliver us from our depependencies if we are willing to trust and obey Him. Have a blessed day

It has been said that when the past is quarreling with the present there can be no future. We all need to quit living in the past after we have learned it's lessons. There is a time for all of us to proceed to new assignments and goals. Recovery involves letting go of what was in the past so we can take hold of what is in the present and begin building a new life for the future.

James 5-16 tells us to confess our sins to one another and pray for each other so that we may be healed. This is such a powerful verse. When we confess our secrets or sins to another person they lose the power they have over us. We can find freedom and begin living the life that Christ intended for us to live. Free from things that keep us in bo***ge. There is truly healing in confession and forgiveness.

Many children and adults believe the lie that they are worthless to other people and insignificant to God. Jesus indicated that he came to save the lost, no matter how few or how "insignificant" they seemed. God the Father does not want anyone to miss the opportunity for salvation or recovery in Jesus Christ. God values each one of us, no matter how painful our past or how far we may have strayed. If we admit our need for him and seek to follow his will for us, we will discover how very important we are to God and the people close to us. God's grace and his mercies are new every morning.
Have a blessed day.
