We're praying for our High School students and leaders as they head to FUSE!

We believe Jesus changes everything - not just church life, but everyday life. FUSE is a place for students to encounter Him, ask honest questions, and discover what it looks like to follow Jesus for themselves.

Pray for our students as they travel to Crowder's Ridge and experience life changing moments while they're there.

Yesterday, we gathered at the beach to celebrate baptisms with our Port City Leland family. 🌊
We were so grateful to witness these public declarations of faith and hear the unique stories of God’s faithfulness, healing, and hope.
To those who were baptized, we celebrate your step of faith and we can't wait to see how He continues to work in and through you! 💙

Tomorrow is going to be amazing! Join us for church at either 9:00 or 11:00 as we continue our summer series: The Way That Leads To Life. And then meet us at Oak Island for Beach Baptisms beginning at 6:00pm.

We will be gathering at the beach access across from Middleton Park - the SE 46th Street access. Parking on Oak Island is free after 5:00pm. Bring your beach chair and come early to spend some time together before we get started.

☀️ Hey Port City Leland families! We're kicking off our first Summer Of Fun event TOMORROW at 6:30 @ Founders Park and we want YOU to join us!

Spend some time with other Port City Kids families at the park with popsicles and great company. Let's celebrate the start of the summer season together. See you there!

Is your student going to FUSE this summer?

THIS Sunday we're having a Parent Meeting where we'll be talking about all things FUSE. This is most helpful for the parents of first-time FUSE campers, but all parents are welcome. This is a great opportunity to hear more about camp and ask questions.

This past Sunday at Port City Leland, we took time to celebrate our high school and college graduates, honoring their hard work and the exciting future ahead of them. 🎓

We were also grateful to hear from Dr. Jonathan Paschal, Asst. Superintendent of Brunswick County Schools, who shared these encouraging words with our church:
“When a church is committed to serving its local schools, it is serving the heart of the community. That is what Port City has done. You have been close in location, but more importantly, you have been close in care, close in prayer, and close in service.”

It’s our privilege to partner with and support our local schools. ❤️

Some of the ways we’ve been able to serve include:
• Teacher Appreciation Week lunches & coffee carts throughout the year
• Hosting and supporting school events like testing days, band concerts, Unified Prom, and senior celebrations
• Meals for sports teams
• Stuff the Bus school supply drive each August

We believe serving schools is one of the best ways we can love our community well, and we’re thankful to be a small part of encouraging students, teachers, staff, and families!

Mark your calendars for Beach Baptisms at Oak Island! Sunday, June 14th @ 6:00pm.

You're invited to come out to support & celebrate those taking this important step in their faith journey! This is one of our FAVORITE events of the summer - and we want you to be there with us!

We will be meeting at the beach access across from Middleton Park - 4601 E Beach Drive. Baptisms will begin at 6:00pm, but we hope you'll come earlier to spend time together on the beach before we get started.

We’ll be providing a special lunch as a way to say thank you for the countless ways they invest in and care for students every single day.

Baptism Group starts THIS Sunday! 🌊

This 4 week group is designed to help you reflect on the meaning of baptism - a public declaration of your commitment to follow Jesus.

If you’ve been thinking about taking this step, we would consider it an honor and a privilege to walk alongside you and celebrate what God is doing in your life!

🌊 Our summer baptisms take place at the beach, and participation in this group is required to be part of the beach baptism celebration.
