This past Sunday at Port City Leland, we took time to celebrate our high school and college graduates, honoring their hard work and the exciting future ahead of them. 🎓

We were also grateful to hear from Dr. Jonathan Paschal, Asst. Superintendent of Brunswick County Schools, who shared these encouraging words with our church:
“When a church is committed to serving its local schools, it is serving the heart of the community. That is what Port City has done. You have been close in location, but more importantly, you have been close in care, close in prayer, and close in service.”

It’s our privilege to partner with and support our local schools. ❤️

Some of the ways we’ve been able to serve include:
• Teacher Appreciation Week lunches & coffee carts throughout the year
• Hosting and supporting school events like testing days, band concerts, Unified Prom, and senior celebrations
• Meals for sports teams
• Stuff the Bus school supply drive each August

We believe serving schools is one of the best ways we can love our community well, and we’re thankful to be a small part of encouraging students, teachers, staff, and families!

Mark your calendars for Beach Baptisms at Oak Island! Sunday, June 14th @ 6:00pm.

You're invited to come out to support & celebrate those taking this important step in their faith journey! This is one of our FAVORITE events of the summer - and we want you to be there with us!

We will be meeting at the beach access across from Middleton Park - 4601 E Beach Drive. Baptisms will begin at 6:00pm, but we hope you'll come earlier to spend time together on the beach before we get started.

Baptism Group starts THIS Sunday! 🌊

This 4 week group is designed to help you reflect on the meaning of baptism - a public declaration of your commitment to follow Jesus.

If you’ve been thinking about taking this step, we would consider it an honor and a privilege to walk alongside you and celebrate what God is doing in your life!

🌊 Our summer baptisms take place at the beach, and participation in this group is required to be part of the beach baptism celebration.

🙏 Good Friday Prayer & Communion at the Leland Campus
Friday, April 3rd from 3–7pm (drop-in)

We’re preparing a space for us to pause, to pray and to reflect. Journey through the most significant events that led Jesus to the cross. We’ll also share communion together as we remember the sacrifice of Jesus and the hope of Easter.
