Let's be honest - praying can sometimes be HARD, even downright awkward. God knows this -- which is why the Word of God lends us a hand in praying purposeful, life-changing prayers. especially when we do so on others' behalf.

This Sunday, join us in reading about Jesus's followers and their method of praying for others. Together with God, we can make a difference.

Anyone who grew up with siblings will tell you: the fights can be brutal, and sometimes only a parent can bring those arguments to an end. This Sunday, two sisters disagree on how to react to Jesus visiting their home. Should they be busy making preparations, or sit with Jesus?

This argument continues even today as people struggle to find the balance between work and business versus silence and relationship. Like the sisters, let's see if Jesus can settle the tension and give us the perspective we need to fully experience Christ. Join us at 9 AM to hear the Word.

Sometimes, God calls us to do things we don’t want to do or to be near people we don’t want to be near. What can be even harder is when we’re called a step further—to serve someone we do not want to serve.

This Sunday, we are reading about God’s command to one of his followers to do exactly that. What happens when God asks us to do something we don’t want to do,? And what happens when we say yes anyways?
