This little girl is so cute as she tries to pick up her little bag of salt and the pieces of soap for her siblings.

We began early as the Mavala area (Mango Tree Church) as well as 2 other churches in that area reported severe crop failures for the widows who care for the orphans. Put simply, the kids were hungry. We didn’t hesitate to load up and bring relief to them, thanks to all of you who have our backs! 🙌

Today we had an amazing Praise and Worship service followed by a message brought to us by Pastor Rob. We began a series called “You’ve Got Mail!”

Happy faces as there will be food on the table tonight!

Kiddos help grannies in the community carry their food gifts.
The first handouts are now completed, with 205 orphans and widows receiving their first food gift during this time of hunger. From Devotions to heading home, the photos from this week's newsletter tell a better story than I can with words. 🙏

These children all know that it takes everyone helping to get the food to their mud huts. It is wonderful to see them helping each other, with neighbors helping neighbors so that these vulnerable orphans have food on the table. To me, it’s the way it should be all over the world. Everyone helping those less fortunate so that all may live.
