🌭💦 WHAT A NIGHT AT HISability! 💦🌭

Last night was SO much fun at HISability! ❤️ We learned about Jesus and the Sermon on the Mount and how He took five loaves of bread and two fish and turned it into more than enough to feed thousands—with leftovers! 🙌🍞🐟

Then it was time for some fun! We headed outside for hot potato and a sponge race before coming back in for an AMAZING spread of food! 🌭😋 We had hot dogs, chips, sloppy joes, coney dogs, zucchini brownies, pineapple dessert, grapes, and watermelon. There was definitely no one leaving hungry! 😂

And then… we went back outside and got WET! 💦 Some got a little wet, and some got completely soaked! But the laughter, smiles, and fellowship were the best part. ❤️

We were also blessed to have some new adults join us, and we are so excited to welcome them into our HISability family! 🥰

There was so much laughter, joy, friendship, and fellowship happening last night. HISability truly is a special place.

We are incredibly thankful for the support of Roxford Church! ❤️ Without the support of Roxford Church and the amazing volunteers who give their time, energy, and hearts to serve, HISability simply would not be possible. They help create a place where everyone is welcomed, valued, included, and encouraged to grow in their relationship with Jesus.

And to all of the incredible individuals and families who continue to show up, participate, laugh, learn, and celebrate God’s goodness with us—thank you! You are what makes HISability so special. 🙏❤️

HISability is more than a ministry. It’s a family.

✨ BIG THINGS ARE HAPPENING WITH HISability! ✨

Today, our HISability volunteers gathered at Missions Cafe to dream, plan, pray, and prepare for what’s ahead! 🙌❤️

We spent time talking about Jesus Prom 2026 👑✨ and beginning to plan the 2027 HISability calendar 📅🎉—and let’s just say… we are SO excited about what God is doing through this ministry! 🔥

God has been incredibly faithful in providing an amazing group of volunteers who are willing to use their time, gifts, talents, and hearts to serve adults with special needs. ❤️🙌 Every person brings something special to this ministry, and we truly believe God is building something bigger than we could have imagined!

A few of our volunteers couldn’t make it today, but they were definitely missed! 💕 We are so thankful for EVERY person who pours into HISability—whether you’re here every time, behind the scenes, helping with events, serving our participants, or simply praying for this ministry. You are part of this! 🙏

And a HUGE thank you to Missions Cafe for being so welcoming and accommodating to our group today! ☕❤️ We appreciate you making space for us to gather, plan, and fellowship together. If you haven’t checked them out yet, go give them a visit! 👏

There is SO much to look forward to! 👑🎉

✨❤️ HISability RECAP! ❤️✨

What a WONDERFUL night at HISability! 🙌🎉 We had so much fun learning, laughing, praying, and spending time together! 🥰

💧✨ MIRACLES! ✨💧
We learned about what a miracle is, Jesus’ very first miracle, why He performed it, and how Mary knew that Jesus could perform a miracle. 🙏❤️

Oscar and Chiquita even gave us their own little demonstration! 😂 They tried to turn water into Kool-Aid by pouring it into a fountain and then declaring it a miracle! 🤣💦 But we learned that just calling something a miracle doesn’t make it one! 😉 It gave us plenty of laughs while helping us understand what makes a TRUE miracle a miracle! ✨🙌

🙏❤️ One of the most special moments of the night was when Liz felt it on her heart to pray for our friend Nate and his family, who went to be with the Lord last week. We are so thankful for a HISability family that cares for one another and lifts each other up in prayer. 🕊️❤️

👫💕 We also had some of our young friends join us and help with the treasure chest, and they were welcomed with open arms! We loved seeing everyone included, helping one another, and being there for their friends. 🥰🤝

❤️ That’s what HISability is all about. ❤️

We are a FAMILY! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 We come together to laugh 😂, worship 🙌, learn 📖, pray 🙏, encourage one another 🤝, and grow in our relationship with God and Jesus ✝️❤️.

Every time we meet, we learn something new, make memories, and grow a little closer together. 🥰✨

☀️💦 END-OF-SUMMER FELLOWSHIP — AUGUST 21ST! 💦☀️
