Heb 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
Heb 13:6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
A close examination of these two verses will reveal a wonderful truth. The last part of verse 5 says that God has said, and the first part of verse 6 says that we may boldly say. In other words because God has made a promise to us, we can make a promise to him.
His promise to us is that He will always be with us, going through every situation, every trial, every heartache. He will make a way for us and will lead us out of our troubling situations. So, therefore our promise to Him is, “Okay God, because You are with me, leading me, I will not fear what man can do to me.”
There are many fearful things we encounter, financial loss, health issues, family breakups, relationships that fall apart, and many others, and through them all God has promised to be with us.
Lean on God’s promises today, and boldly speak to your crisis and declare, “you don’t scare me, God is with me and He will turn this for my Good.”

1Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Worry makes us forget who's in charge.
It’s quite natural to focus on ourselves, especially in times of great stress, trouble, pain and sorrow. But when the focus is on ourself we worry. We become anxious about many things. We worry that:
People won't appreciate us.
Our employers will overwork you.
Our family won't understand us.
Our friends won't support us.

With time, our agenda becomes more important than God's. we're more concerned with our comfort and convenience than pleasing Him. And you may even find yourself doubting God's judgment…

God has gifted us with talents. His word teaches us that the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. That doesn’t mean that He gives gifts and talents to people who have never repented of their sins, but rather that God does not repent for the gifts, favors and callings that He places in our lives. He knows what He is doing and He considered us worthy of those things.

So, allow God to be in charge of your life, your dreams, your desires, your fears and disappointments. Give it all to Him and let Him work it out according to His will.

1John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. 5. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
The world. The phrase implies so much and it bears serious consideration. “The world” is made up of philosophies, ideologies, theologies, cultures, governments, spirits, diseases, pandemics, people, and a myriad of other things.
“The world” will undoubtedly, without a daily consistent walk with God crush you. “The world” is bigger than you. It’s smarter than you. It’s more powerful than you. It seeps into your mind, controlling what you believe, how you react. “The world” doesn’t ask permission, it just takes control of you whether you like it or not.
Can you begin to see why people do foolish things, even crazy, stupid things, violent things, immoral things? It’s because “The world” is crushing them in a vice that will squeeze all the life, joy, peace, happiness out of them, and eventually totally destroy them.
Only the born-again child of God can overcome “The world”. And that is only made possible through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. When we surrender our lives to Him and commit to His will and ways, we rise above “The world” and through His Spirit we have strength and wisdom to overcome “The world”.

Have you been born again according to John 3:5? Have you repented of your sins (Spiritual death)? Have you been baptized in water calling on the name of Jesus (Spiritual burial)? Have you received the free gift of the Holy Ghost (Spiritual resurrection to new life)? If so, “The world” has no hold or claim on you and you can live in peace and possess the promise of eternal life.

Isaiah 7:11 Ask thee a sign of the LORD thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above.

In this verse, God invites King Ahaz to ask for a sign, something so extraordinary that it could reach the depths of the earth or the heights of heaven. This invitation reveals God's heart. He is not reluctant to reassure His people. He welcomes our questions, our doubts, and our need for confirmation of His presence.

Too often, we carry burdens alone, hesitant to bring our concerns before God. Yet our text reminds us that God desires a relationship marked by trust and openness. He invites us to seek Him confidently, knowing that He hears and cares.

Bring your biggest concerns to God. Ask Him for wisdom, guidance, and the assurance of His faithfulness. The God who offered a sign to Ahaz is the same God who continues to reveal His presence and love to all His children.

Some things I have said for many years, and I still believe today: May you find comfort in at least one of them today:

• This too shall pass
• The same wind that brings a storm into your life will carry it out of your life

Rom 4:17(NLT) That is what the Scriptures mean when God told him, “I have made you the father of many nations.” This happened because Abraham believed in the God who brings the dead back to life and who creates new things out of nothing.
Rom 4:18 Even when there was no reason for hope, Abraham kept hoping—believing that he would become the father of many nations. For God had said to him, “That’s how many descendants you will have!”
Rom 4:19 And Abraham’s faith did not weaken, even though, at about 100 years of age, he figured his body was as good as dead—and so was Sarah’s womb.
Rom 4:20 Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God.
Rom 4:21 He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises.

Abraham at 100 years old, had no reason for hope to father a child. He figured his body was dead and so was Sarah’s womb. But when God spoke to him, he hoped against hope, which means he had a stubborn, sometimes irrational belief that things will work out, even when all logic and evidence suggests something else. However, in spite of his age and the circumstances of it, his faith did not weaken. He knew his God, and he knew his God would do what He had promised.

It is great trials that produce great faith. Great faith is strengthened in the trial, the affliction, the temptation. Great faith produces great worship. The person who gives God glory while in the trial is manifesting the greatest faith and the greatest worship.
