Bishop Richard Lawson joined Epiphany this morning to confirm and receive new Episcopal members. It was a wonderful day of community, celebration and thanksgiving to God for the many ways He weaves us together!

The Episcopal Bishop of Alabama is coming to Epiphany in Leeds! Come hear and meet the Rt Rev Richard Lawson this Sunday, the 30th, at 10:30am, when he confirms and receives 7 new members of Epiphany and the Episcopal faith!

Today, while mowing the grass, I found a candy-filled Easter egg left behind under a peony bush. I found it as the peony gave up its glory for the season. It was filled with beautiful blooms at the time the egg was carefully placed beneath its then lush foliage to obscure it from wide-eyed children looking for the treasure hidden inside the colorful plastic. Now the peony leaves are a little worse for the summer wear.
The risen Lord places hidden gems full of treasure in each of our beautiful brothers and sisters in hopes we one day look past their tattered lives like the tattered leaves of the peony to find them.

There is goodness wherever you look for it, if you look for it.

Work day at Epiphany! Sprucing up for our visit from our new Bishop Richard Lawson. It was HOT, but everyone showed up and got to work. Many thanks to all our wonderful members and their dedication to Epiphany!

Everyone is welcome in our all-volunteer choir. We will be gearing up soon for our holiday chorale event, Lessons and Carols.
Come join us and help us make a joyful noise!

Our choir sings a wide variety of music from the Hallelujah Chorus to songs you may remember from church camp. The choir seeks to bring a musical experience of the Holy to the congregation. Even with such a lofty goal, the choir has a lot of fun!

A few of our Epiphanites, Jimbo Moore and Beth Gregory with guest accompanist Billy Davis, entertained with 60’s music last night. Beth and Jimbo are not only members of the Epiphany Choir but also the Leeds Community Chorus. Be sure to catch them when you can at their next Leeds Art Council performance!
