Leeds First Methodist Church Our church exists to create paths for more people to know and grow like Jesus.

Rooted in the truth and love of Jesus, we believe faith is lived out together on the paths of worshipping, growing, serving, and reaching. More Than a Church
Leeds First United Methodist Church, a congregation in Leeds, Alabama, offers members and guests a chance to become part of something greater: to grow in their love of God and for one another within our beautiful community. We are rooted in the truth of Jesus revealed in the Bible and his invitation to everyone to follow him. No matter who you are or where you've been, there’s a place for you at our church.

We had such a great time at Leeds Night Out!
Thanks, Leeds, for helping us settle the important debates of our time. Here are the final, definitive, (definitely not) scientific results:

Christmas music—74% said it should be played only after Thanksgiving

Pumpkin spice—70% said it’s yummy; 30% said it tastes like drinking a candle

Diehard—73% said it IS a Christmas movie

And on the final question…Alabama or Auburn—would you believe it ended in a tie!?!

Thanks again for helping us settle these important questions! We will be drawing for the two gift cards tomorrow morning so check back tomorrow to see who wins!

It is Socktober at Leeds First Methodist! All month we'll be collecting socks to give to those experiencing homelessness. We have bins in both the sanctuary and the FLC to collect if you'd like to donate. Please donate only new socks--we're collecting holy socks, not hole-y socks! :-)

We will be participating once again this year in the Downtown Leeds Trick or Treating, which means we need LOTS of candy!

As we have in previous years, we'd also like to give away full size candy bars to the parents as a special treat.

If you'd like to donate, we will have collection bins in the FLC and the sanctuary between now and Oct. 30th.
