It all started with a prophecy in 2020.
God told us that He would give us a church building and that we wouldn’t pay for it. At the time, we thanked God for this faith building prophecy and continued to faithfully serve and rent the building God had us in. Years passed and we continued to pray for an open door to a “home” church for The Way.
Every time we would find a building for sale, the reminder of the prophecy would come to our minds. We continued to trust God and wait on His timing. We baptized many people and saw God do countless miracles while we waited.
We attended Landmark Conference in January of 2026 and this is when we felt God speaking “It’s time”.
Coming home from conference, our faith was high. We were anticipating the miracle, we simply had no idea where it would come from.
So on a Monday evening, we jumped in the van with all of our kids and began to drive around the town of Lebanon, OR praying as we drove by each church building. We didn’t have a plan, just simply trusting God and looking for an open door. We talked with a few pastors, called a few numbers, and left a bunch of messages at various churches asking if they had any plans to sell their building.
Finally, as the evening was closing, our faith was fading and we were about to head home. But we suddenly had the inspiration to drive up the hill and visit one more church right outside of town.
There it was, an old country church looking a bit abandoned at the top of the hill in Sodaville/Lebanon, OR.
We called the number on the sign and immediately got an answer.
When I told the pastor we were looking for a church building, she asked what denomination we were. When I responded with “Pentecostal”, she said, “When can we meet?”
We met a few days later and she explained that God had been dealing with her to pass on this building to another church group that was Pentecostal. She said there had been many prophecies over this building about the revival that would come forth from this little town. When she met our family, she said she believed that this revival would come through us! She took a few months to pray about it and we did the same. She texted me on Easter morning letting me know that she needed to talk with us.
When I called her, she explained that God had spoken to her and that it was time to hand over the building. The following Wednesday, we met and left with the keys to a fully paid for church building! Our church family all pulled together to do some renovations to make it our own and we had our first Sunday service May 3rd! God is faithful! His timing is perfect! We cannot stop thanking God for this undeniable miracle! 🙌🏼
