Happy Mother's Day! 🌸

Today, our hearts are full of gratitude for the women who have shaped our lives with love, sacrifice, and unwavering faith. Our earthly mothers, whether by birth, adoption, or the gift of mentorship, are living reflections of God’s tenderness.

In a special way, during the month of May, we honor Mary, the Mother of Jesus, whose “yes” to God changed the course of history. She is the gentle spirit who teaches us trust, humility, and courage in the face of life’s challenges.

Let’s take a moment to thank our mothers, here on earth and in heaven, for their prayers, their patience, and their endless love. And let’s turn to Mary, asking her to embrace us with your love and lead us ever closer to her Son.

Do you have a gently used couch or loveseat you are getting rid of? We are looking for furniture to create a comfortable sitting area in the St. James basement. Please contact the parish office if you would be willing to donate or sell furnishings.

Are you looking for a way to offer your talents and help fill a need in our parish? We are in need of several new sound system operators to create a schedule for weekend Masses and special events at St. Josephs.

This past weekend, we were blessed to celebrate the First Communion of 92 of our children! 🙏

Pray that they may continue to grow in their faith and always stay close to Jesus in the sacraments.
