When society seems dark and broken, don't blame the world for being the world. Ask yourself: where is the church? We are called to be the salt and light that preserves, transforms, and illuminates. It's time to step into our purpose.

Be salt. Be light. Be bold.

Jesus calls us to live in a way that makes a difference—preserving what is good, reflecting His light, and pointing others to Him.

What does it look like to let your faith be seen?

This Sunday, we’re continuing our Sermon on the Mount series with Matthew 5:13–16—Jesus’ call for His followers to be salt and light.

We aren’t called to blend in or keep our faith to ourselves. Jesus invites us to live in a way that brings hope, reflects His goodness, and makes a difference right where He has placed us.

Join us at 10:30 AM as we discover what it means to live as salt and light.

Come worship with us!

25 years later, we remember. 🇺🇸

On September 11, 2001, our nation experienced unimaginable loss. We remember those who lost their lives, the families who were forever changed, and the heroes who answered the call to serve.

The Salvation Army was there, providing meals, supplies, emotional and spiritual care, and a helping hand to those in need.

Today, we honor those who served, those who sacrificed, and all those whose lives were changed.

We remember. We honor. We serve.

Staff Highlight: Meet Althea! 👋

Althea serves as our Business Manager, helping keep the behind-the-scenes operations of our Corps running smoothly. Her work plays an important part in supporting our staff, ministry, and the many ways we serve our community.

Why I Serve

“My reason for coming to work is simple: I love helping people. I believe in what this organization stands for, and I value being part of something that makes a positive difference in the lives of others.

I feel that, through my work, I can make a difference—even if it is in a small way. Sometimes, a small act of kindness, support, or simply being there for someone can have a meaningful impact.

What I find most rewarding is that I often feel like I get more out of serving than I put in. Helping others gives my work purpose, fulfillment, and a sense that what I do truly matters. That is why I serve.”

We’re grateful for Althea and the care she brings to her work each day. Her reminder that even the small things can make a meaningful difference is something we can all take to heart!

Forgiveness isn't just a nice idea—it's the natural overflow of a transformed heart. When you understand the depth of God's forgiveness through Jesus, you can't help but extend that same mercy to others. Let that truth change everything.

This Sunday, we continue Week 3 of our Sermon on the Mount series with Blessed to Be Different, exploring Matthew 5:7–12.

Jesus calls us to a different way of living—one marked by mercy, purity, peacemaking, and a willingness to stand apart for the sake of following Him. Being blessed doesn’t always mean taking the easy road; sometimes, it means choosing to live differently.

Join us this Sunday at 10:30 AM as we discover what it means to be blessed to be different.

We’d love to worship with you!
