This week, we're spotlighting our Utility Assistance program.

💡 Through emergency utility assistance, we help qualifying households avoid power, gas, and water shutoffs during times of financial hardship. By meeting these urgent needs, we're helping families maintain stability, safety, and hope when they need it most.

Together, we're helping our neighbors keep the lights on, the water running, and hope alive.

This week, we're spotlighting our Food Pantry.

🥫 The Salvation Army Gwinnett County Food Pantry provides canned foods and non-perishable items to individuals and families facing food insecurity in our community. Through the generosity of donors, volunteers, and community partners, we're helping ensure that our neighbors have access to the nourishment and support they need.

📍 Our Food Pantry is open Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 2:00–4:00 PM.

Together, we're serving our community with hope—one meal, one family, and one act of kindness at a time.

🍩 Happy National Doughnut Day from The Salvation Army of Gwinnett County!

Did you know National Doughnut Day began in 1938 to honor the Salvation Army "Doughnut Lassies" who served doughnuts and provided encouragement to soldiers on the front lines during World War I?

Today, we're carrying on that sweet tradition! Our Reverb students (Middle/High school group) spent time sharing doughnuts with some of our amazing community neighbors at Riverside Pizza, Zaxby's, Bruster's, and UPS. We also had doughnuts available for clients visiting our center throughout the day.

A simple doughnut can be a reminder that small acts of kindness can make a big difference. Thank you to everyone who helped us spread a little joy today!

Each week, we'll highlight a program, service, ministry, staff member, or volunteer opportunity that helps us serve our community through The Salvation Army Gwinnett County. This week, we're spotlighting Home Sweet Home Gwinnett.

🏠 Through rental assistance and housing support, Home Sweet Home Gwinnett helps prevent homelessness and provides stability for individuals and families facing housing challenges. Together, we're helping our neighbors find hope, stability, and a place to call home.
