First Christian Church of Lawrenceville

First Christian Church of Lawrenceville At LFCC, we seek to reflect the radiant love of Christ within the Church, the community, and everywhere we go. If that’s you, come home!

We seek to be a home for anyone looking for God and beloved community. There’s room for you, just as you are! First Christian Church of Lawrenceville, as a congregation of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), is a movement for wholeness in a fragmented world. We seek to convey love of God, love of member, and love of neighbor to anyone who interacts with us. We have several opportunities to visit, interact, and become involved in the Lawrenceville First Christian Community. Worship: 10:50am on Sundays in person and on Zoom. Midweek Bible Study is Wednesday at 6:30pm on Zoom. Many other groups and activities are held periodically, contact us, or better yet join us at worship to find out more.

Joseph and his brothers could not undo the betrayal, fear, and pain that had shaped their family. Ronald Cotton and Jennifer Thompson could not recover the eleven years taken from him by a wrongful conviction.

Reconciliation did not change what had happened, but it allowed their stories to end somewhere other than anger, guilt, and brokenness.

What is the difference between pretending the past never happened and allowing God to create something new from it?
