Sand Spring was well represented at the Fostering Hope 5K benefitting Orphan Care Alliance this morning! The Whitehall Shrine in Richmond provided a beautifully scenic background for the run and the weather was perfect.

It was fun to catch up with Sam and Martha Baker. Everyone there got to join in the celebration of Martha's 200th 5K.

A good time was definitely had by all!

Sunday Night Worship

This bus load of 35 incredibly energetic Sand Springers had a blast on our outing Friday night. After a stop for delicious ice cream at Finn's in Danville (can you say Black Raspberry Chocolate Crunch?!) we made the short drive to Pioneer Playhouse.

It was a hot evening but that didn't take away from the show. Elvis 1 and Elvis 2 were joined on stage by Dolly and Loretta and they did not disappoint. Some of our folks even got pictures with the them!

Sorry if you missed the "shaking" this time but there are more events coming.. stay tuned!

Thanks to all! The ladies were so appreciative of our church's donations. They shared that so many come through their doors in need of these very items!
