Evergreen Baptist Church of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, is seeking a bi-vocational pastor to lead our congregation, understanding that the bi-vocational position means the pastor would need a
secondary means of income while being available for
the duties as the pastor of our church.
We understand that the church may need to be sensitive
to the schedule and responsibilities of his other job.
We are looking for the man that the Lord has already
chosen for our congregation. He will have strong
leadership skills and connect with both the
congregation and church leaders.
We are a Bible believing congregation. The biblical
qualifications for a pastor are primarily outlined in
1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9.
Duties would include but are not limited to:
• Preparing and conducting Sunday morning services
• Wednesday evening Bible Study
• Wedding ceremonies, funerals, baptisms, baby
dedications, and church business meetings
• Other pastoral needs, including (as necessary and
available) hospital visitation, prayer, and
counseling
The candidate will need exceptional people and
communication skills with a passion to reach
individuals for the Lord. We desire a pastor who will
challenge growth and will lead the church.
We are seeking an energetic pastor with the following
qualifications:
• Ordained in a Baptist Church
• Has a minimum of three to five (3-5) years overall
ministry experience
• Attended or graduated from an accredited Bible
college or seminary (preferred).
• Provide a DVD or web link with two (2) worship
services you recently conducted (if available).
