Sunday Recap | “It’s Not Over” – Pastor Clyde Haywood

Today’s message reminded us about Noah and how he remained faithful through the storm, but struggled after it. A powerful reminder that surviving the storm doesn’t automatically mean we’ve healed from it. As Pastor Clyde said, “Victory doesn’t restore what trauma touched.” Many times we don’t break during the storm—we break afterward.

If you’re struggling after a difficult season, it’s not the end. God is still working in you. Identity is often discovered after the trial, but if we don’t heal from what we’ve been through, we’ll eventually drown in it.

It’s not over. God is still working.

“They all met together and were constantly united in prayer …”
Acts of the Apostles 1:14 NLT

Today wasn’t just another Sunday… it was Pentecost Sunday. A reminder that before the fire fell in Acts 2, there was unity, prayer, and surrender in Acts 1. The real meaning of Pentecost is not just celebration, but the outpouring of the Holy Spirit that empowered ordinary people to carry the Gospel with boldness.

We witnessed that same power moving in our service. Lives were saved, hearts were healed, chains were broken, and people left filled up by the presence of God. What a beautiful reminder that Pentecost was never meant to stay in the upper room ; His Spirit is still moving, still restoring, and still changing lives today.
