“Scripture tells us to outdo one another in honoring others, and in the Refuge we take that seriously! So today we honor Christian, an 11th grader in our student ministry! Christian has played guitar in our praise band the last year and a half and has really helped to grow this ministry to where it is now. He and his family have recently moved and will be joining another church closer to their new home! This past Wednesday was his last time playing with our praise band!

I often tell our students that character off stage is even more important than the talent displayed onstage! Christian is one of those young guys that has both and has been a leader on and off stage. I have seen in him a desire to grow in his walk with the lord and to not settle for surface level Christianity. I’m so proud of this kid! His presence will be greatly missed but we know that God has big plans for him and his family in their new church home!”
