CONGRATULATIONS SISTER GABRIEL PERRY

My name is Sister Gabriel Perry, a Marian Sister of the Diocese of Lincoln, Nebraska, and I will make my Final Profession of Vows on Saturday, August 1st, 2026.

I grew up in Henderson and graduated from Foothill High School in 2010. After graduating, I moved to Lincoln, Nebraska, to attend college and upon graduation, I was fully initiated into the Catholic Church and was baptized Easter of 2015. Praised be Jesus Christ! In 2017, I felt called to follow the Lord’s promptings and enter religious life. In September of 2018, I entered the Marian Sisters and began formation. Over the last 8 years, the Lord has given me great gifts of opportunities to gain knowledge of our faith, prayer, guidance, and a fuller and deeper understanding of what it means to be a bride of Christ. As a community, we serve the Lord and our Diocese through teaching, nursing, and social work.

Although I was not Catholic while I was growing up here, I so enjoy coming back to attend Mass and adoration while visiting my family a couple of times each year. Please know of my prayers for the Archdiocese of Las Vegas and for future vocations to the priesthood and religious life for Las Vegas and the Universal Church!

Our God is fully alive and working! I pray we all have the eyes to see the incredible work He is doing in our lives. Do not underestimate what He can do with a faithful and willing heart. May God bless you all abundantly!

The seminarians enjoyed a beautiful evening with the Archdiocese of Las Vegas—Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher.

Some of our Seminarians spent a lovely evening with Archbishop Thomas, Bishop Gordon and the Directors of Vocations as Archbishop Thomas blessed the new “Archbishop Thomas House of Formation” for our Seminarians.
