TRUTH BOMBS about REAL LOVE 💣

What the world calls love isn’t always love, and sometimes we can be so impressed by what we can do for God that we miss what He’s actually trying to do in us!

Pastor Ron unpacked 1 Corinthians 13 and gave us three truth bombs:

💥 The world’s idea of love isn’t real love.
💥 Real love is better than miracles.
💥 Real love is God’s way of growing us up.

The question isn’t if you’re being discipled. The question is: who is discipling you?

When the world shapes your view of love, love can start to feel transactional: I’ll love you IF you love me. I’ll give IF I get something back.

We’ve spent this series looking at seven decisions that can change a life…. and we’re ending with one that puts our faith into action: SERVE.

Serving God isn’t just about what we do. It’s about the heart behind it. We serve to give Him honor. We serve by choosing it (because wholeheartedness doesn’t happen accidentally!). And we serve because Jesus served us first.

So what does wholehearted service look like for you right now? Where is God inviting you to step in, say yes, and serve Him with your whole heart?

Throw the idols away, choose wholeheartedness, and walk in the fullness of your calling!

Serving God is a choice. It’s alive and it’s active. We choose every day whether we want to serve Him. And Joshua reminds us in God’s word “as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”

Wholehearted faith doesn’t just happen. It’s a decision we make daily to hold fast to God, follow Him, and to serve Him (even when it isn’t the easiest choice!).

When we’re facing a decision, trying to make sense of a mistake, or dealing with something we simply can’t change, sometimes the hardest thing to do is stop and seek God when our instinct tells us to figure it out ourselves.

This week, Pastor Ron challenged us: what if we started somewhere different?
Seek the Lord.
Seek Him for the decision in front of you.
Seek Him for the mistake behind you.
Seek Him for the person you can’t change…
Because God sees what we cannot.
Taking territory for God means relying on Him and seeking His perspective every day.
So today, before you move, react, decide, or try to fix it…
