Today we celebrate what God is doing through the testimonies of Hope Church and Walk Church as they continue to love and reach our city.

Happy 25th birthday to Hope Church! We are grateful for the legacy, vision, and faithfulness that have marked their ministry over the years. It was a joy to see some of their original and past leadership present this weekend, including founding pastor Vance Pittman, as we celebrated all God has done through this church.

Happy 11th birthday to Walk Church! Thank you for your intentionality in being a church for the city and for the way you continue to bless Schofield Middle School. We are excited about the opportunity ahead as they look toward building their own facility in the near future.

Thank you to everyone who came together this week to celebrate these churches and the ways God is working through them. We’re grateful for the impact they are making in our community!

Sunday night, September 20th approximately 250 students and leaders gathered at Life Baptist church for ONE. At least 8 valley churches were represented. ONE is an ongoing city-wide initiative where students and SBC churches from across the Valley continue coming together around ONE Church. ONE Faith. ONE Gospel. ONE Mission. ONE King.

The evening started off with activities engaging students. Worship through music was led by Life Church. Chris Vaquero led the teaching. He taught using the illustration of the woman at the well. He challenged students to allow the transformation of the Lord to work in their lives. The gospel message was clearly presented. Students were given the charge to live out their faith in their school, family, sports, etc. Dom Adams led the activities and emceed the event. He facilitated the application portion of the evening, a time of prayer. Leaders had been recruited to circle up with students and prayed for the lost, for boldness, for our city. The evening ended with worship, snacks, dirty sodas, and activities.

It was amazing to see students gather with a heart to learn and enjoy fellowship together.

Coming February 5-6, 2027 ONE Purpose - featuring teacher Will Snipes. Registration is OPEN! To sign up, visit this link: https://www.vancoevents.com/us/events/landing/68544?
