What a powerful Sunday at Journey as Pastor Nick led us through Week 2 of our Sermon on the Mount series, reminding us what it truly means to be the Salt and Light, reflecting God’s love and light in the world. We are SO excited to gather together for Week 2 of our Sermon on the Mount series! Join us at 9:00 or 10:30 a.m. for worship, community, and a morning we can’t wait to share with you. Journey Kids is available during both services, so bring the whole family!
And yes… it’s DONUT SUNDAY! Stop by the Fellowship Hall before either service and grab a donut for $2 each cash only, please. Every donut purchased (or donation given!) supports retreats and mission trips for Journey Student Ministries.
So come hungry for the Word… and maybe a donut too. We seriously LOVE Sundays at Journey, and we can’t wait to worship, laugh, connect, and spend the morning with YOU!

Join us Saturday, September 5 from 7–9 AM CST in the Fellowship Hall at Journey Church for breakfast, worship, time in the Word, and real fellowship with other men who want to grow deeper in their faith. Watchmen is about building a brotherhood of Christ-followers who stand accountable before God and one another. Men committed to hearing God’s Word, responding in obedience, leading with humility and courage, and serving others with Christlike love.
Bring your Bible and a notebook if you’d like, grab a friend, and come hungry for breakfast and for what God wants to do in your life. 🙌

ONE NIGHT. ONE PARK. ONE PURPOSE: WORSHIP.
Join us Friday, September 11 at 6:00 PM CDT / 7:00 PM EDT at the Dennis F. Smith Amphitheater in Fox Park for an incredible evening of worship together!
Bring a lawn chair, a blanket, or find a spot in the grass as we gather to lift up the name of Jesus. No agenda. No sermon. Just worshiping the King of Kings.
Invite your friends, family, neighbors, and anyone who could use an evening centered on the goodness of God. Our prayer is to fill the park with voices united in praise, and we would LOVE for you to be part of it!
A Note About the Music: Some songs will include partial Spanish lyrics, and lyrics will be available in a Google Doc so everyone can follow along.
ASL interpretation will be provided throughout the evening, with an accessible viewing area reserved near the front on stage left for those using interpretation. Please help us keep these seats available until the event begins.

Come along with us as we step into the Book of Matthew and spend the next 17 weeks walking through Jesus’ powerful Sermon on the Mount. We’re going to put ourselves in the sandals of the people who were there that day. Sitting on the hillside, listening to Jesus speak, taking in His words, and experiencing His teaching in that moment. What would it have been like to hear Jesus say these things for the very first time? What would we have thought, felt, and understood?

For 17 weeks, we’ll slow down, listen closely, and explore what Jesus was teaching the people then, and what He is still teaching us today.
