St. Paul Lutheran Church We are a part of the people of God who gather around His altar to receive His good gifts. Our worship services are Sunday Morning at 8:00 am and 10:30am.

Sunday School and Bible Study is at 9:15-10:15 am.

And he (Zechariah) asked for a writing tablet and wrote, "His name is John." And they all wondered. And immediately his mouth was opened and his tongue loosed and he spoke, blessing God. Luke 1:63-64
"In Jesus, our Savior, we rest. Nothing is too much for Him. Because of His powerful death and resurrection, despite our sinful doubt, we can open our mouths and praise God for His constant mercy and grace.
Lord, I believe, help my unbelief. In Jesus' name. Amen."

Prayer for June 23, 2026: Habakkuk 3:17-19 and Psalm 112
Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive tree fail and the field yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will take joy in the God of my salvation.
Habakkuk 3:17-18
"In life's hard times, we can choose to try to make the most of it ourselves, or we can rejoice in God and rest in His promises brought by fruition through Christ Jesus. We can rejoice that God promises to be with us in it, to work His good through it, and that we have victory over it through Jesus.
Father, redeem our pain for Your glory. In Jesus' name. Amen."

It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when sown on the ground, is the smallest of all the seeds on earth, yet, when it is sown it grows up and becomes larger than all the garden plants. Mark 4:31-32
"We scatter seeds through expressions of faith. We listen with love and trust. We display the fruit of the Spirit through acts of kindness. We watch for opportunities to speak Christ's Gospel message of redemption and salvation into the lives of those hurting.
God is at work, and we have the privilege and responsibility to sow seeds and tend His work as His kingdom grows.
Lord, Thy kingdom come. You are at work. Help me be aware of Your working presence and join with You. In Jesus' name. Amen."

And my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory. Philippians 4:19
"God, the creator of the universe, promises to supply what His children need according to everything He has. He gives us first what we truly need---namely, forgiveness of sins, restoration with Himself, and eternal life. Then He pours on us all the riches of His heavenly kingdom, which we will fully experience in eternity. We lack nothing in Jesus.
Jesus, I lack nothing in You! Open my heart and hands to fully receive Your good gifts and to freely pass them along to others. Amen."

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. Philippians 4:8
"Christians should consider whether their words are true, kind, or helpful. If not, the words shouldn't be said. We are also called to consider how we think. We are to test our thoughts, to hold them up to the light of the Scripture and see if they pass muster.
As we do, we see our situations and relationships from a more Christlike perspective. And we flourish in the abundant grace and peace that Jesus gives so freely.
Jesus, help me capture every thought and submit it to Your truth, discarding what is false or unkind and embracing what is good and true. Amen."

"Worry is worthless, but prayer is priceless! Prayer produces results because Jesus is our mediator. It is by His obedience, His sacrifice for us, that God hears our concerns and responds according to His good will for us.
God, You promise to provide all that I need. Help me to trust You. In Jesus'name. Amen!"

Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. Philippians 4:4
"How do you rejoice no matter the circumstances? Begin by repenting, admitting your obsession with yourself and turn your eyes both to your Creator and to His creation. Remember first that you are His child through Jesus. He promises to provide for you, to work everything for good, to renew your soul, and to lead you in doing His will. Nothing can remove you from His love.
Jesus, my heart rejoices in You! Make me a person of peace and rejoicing, content and secure in my Father's care. Amen."

But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. Philippians 3:20
"You and I are called to live as God's ambassadors. We are called to live in our fallen world but represent our heavenly Father by living in such a way that the kingdom of God is noticeable within and through us. He graciously invites us to be witnesses of His love and grace, resting sure in the promise that regardless of what happens to us---whether we live or die, are liked or scorned---we belong to the heavenly kingdom, and no one can take that away.
Father, The Kingdom come. May I be Your faithful representative here on earth. In Jesus'name. Amen."
