This last Sunday, we looked at 1 Thessalonians 4:1–8 and God’s will for our lives: to live a life of holiness that is pleasing to Him. God has called us to purity, and we can pursue a holy lifestyle as we remember the power of the Holy Spirit, who transforms our hearts and works within us.

This week, may our desire be to please God, by cultivating hearts that treasure holiness and reflect Christ in all we do.

This past Sunday, we reflected on Paul’s heart for the church at Thessalonica. In the closing of his greeting, he encouraged the believers that their faith would deepen, their love for one another would abound, and that their character and conduct would shine with holiness.

This week, may we pray the same for our HCCC family:

• Love that abounds and expands
• Character and conduct that shine with holiness

✨ This morning we celebrated the completion of our Women’s Bible Study on the Armor of God (Ephesians 6)!

What joy it was to recount together how we’ve grow deeper in God’s Word and closer to one another along the way.

Women’s Bible Study will be starting up again in the fall, and we would love for you to join us!
