Yesterday at church, I announced the need to select Conservative Christians for the Lapeer County Library Board so we can protect our children from pornographic materials that they are currently able to access and check out without parental permission.

I don't see on the County Commissioners web page where you can e-mail them. Here is the phone number. Please call and leave a voicemail then attend the meeting Thursday morning at 9 am. in the lower level of the Court House if you're free.

This is a very important issue for Lapeer County and the protection of the children. The County Commissioners phone number is (810) 667-0366

Many have asked how they can help Gene and Janis Welch during this difficult season.
If you would like to donate money, I will be giving it to Janis to help cover her food needs as she is spending hours at the hospital each day. We all know lunches add up quickly. She can also use it for gas back and forth.
Please turn it in to Pastor Glo or Mo and they will get it to Janis.

What can we do??? Do you ever wonder that? Well we invite you to an Elections Information Night at the church on Wednesday, July 13th, from 6-7.

We will be there to help answer questions, go over the candidates, get familiar with the ballot and get excited about doing our part to vote with confidence and encourage others to do the same.

We can make a difference, this is our right and obligation as we thank God for our country!
