A huge THANK YOU to St. David's own Matt VanAcker for giving church members a tour of the state military flag archives. Matt used his expert knowledge to bring the stories of these flags and the brave men who carried them to life. In particular, we enjoyed poems, letters and readings from the stories of some of the Civil War veterans who carried them. It was an amazing experience!

We had an AMAZING Mass at St. David's today as we welcomed three new members formally to the body of Christ in Holy Baptism. We also said "farewell" to Mother Stephanie as she goes off to serve the good people of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Flint.

Prayers were said, heads got wet, and God was glorified! Welcome, newly Baptised, may you be blessed as you are a blessing.

We are blessed beyond measure to add a fourth phenomenal candidate to our Bishop's slate.

With gratitude and hope, the Standing Committee of the Episcopal Diocese of the Great Lakes announces the an addition of a candidate to stand for election as the first bishop diocesan of the Episcopal Diocese of the Great Lakes, finalizing our slate with four candidates.
