Know Your Intern | Know Your Mothers | EP 5 | LIVE EPISODE | John King

Long before sanctuaries and sermons, women were forming faith in deserts and kitchens, at the edges of power and promise. They prayed boldly, spoke truth, and proclaimed hope, often without invitation or approval. In this four-week series at Sycamore Creek you will rediscover the saints, mystics, rebels, and visionaries who are the mothers of our faith, and explore what their ancient wisdom means for our lives today. Knowing your mothers means knowing your roots and finding your voice.

May 10 – EP 2 | Priscilla
May 17 – EP 3 | Photini

This summer, you have a chance to help welcome our pastoral intern, John King, from Duke Divinity School.

We’re launching **Spartan Supper Summer: Blue Devils Edition.**

You can sign up to:
• take John out to lunch after worship
• have him over for dinner during the week
• meet at a restaurant, coffee shop, pub, or wherever good conversation happens

This is not about impressing anyone. Pizza counts. Burgers count. Takeout counts. The point is simple: help John experience the people and stories that make Sycamore Creek what it is.

Some of the best ministry conversations happen around tables.
