Happy Easter! He is risen! On this glorious morning, we pray to our Savior King:

Lord Jesus, this is truly an extraordinary day! You have fulfilled your promise; you have conquered sin and death and the grave. Your empty tomb proves that you are God, your Word is true, and I too will rise one day. Teach me not to worry about the problems of this life. Calm my anxious soul with the reassurance that because you have conquered death itself, you will make all things work out for my good. Amen.

Today is Good Friday. This is the day the Christian Church solemnly remembers Jesus' sacrifice on the cross for our sins. Certainly, a somber day.... Yet still a "good" day as we realize the true depth of God's love for us! There are two opportunities to gather today: services are at 1:00PM and 6:30PM.

Today is Holy Thursday, or Maundy Thursday. It is the day the Christian Church gives thanks for Jesus' commands to his people the day before he was crucified. (Maundy comes from the Latin word, maundare, which means "to command.") On this Thursday evening, during the Passover, Jesus commands his people to "love one another" and commands the new festival of the Lord's Supper. We will be fed through the Lord's Word and Sacrament, the very things which give us the faith and spiritual strength to love one another. Worship this evening is at 6:30PM.

Our Palm Sunday services tomorrow will begin with a procession of palms. All in attendance (of all ages!) are invited to gather in the church entryway before the service and receive palm branches. After a brief opening of prayer and Scripture, we will enter into the sanctuary with the palms, singing "Hosanna," just as in the first Palm Sunday outside Jerusalem.

Our final Wednesday Lent service is today (March 25). The theme for these Wednesday services is “It Is Finished.” During these Wednesday services, we will explore some prophecies in the book of Zechariah as they relate to Jesus' Holy Week passion, death, and resurrection.
In this final week, the sermon looks at Zechariah 12:10-13, with the theme: "Look at the One Who Was Pierced."
Services are at 3:30pm & 6:30pm. There is also a fellowship meal between the services. Join us, and bring a friend!
