EMANUEL LUTHERAN SCHOOL...
Offers full-time Christian education for grades preschool through eighth grade. We provide opportunities for children to excel in all areas including academic, music, athletics, and technology. Currently we have 48 students in Kindergarten through grade 8, as well as 25 preschoolers, with before and after care available. Emanuel First Lutheran School is served by four full-time teachers, one part-time teacher, plus additional support staff. We operate with 14 networked Pentium PCs in the computer lab, 5 laptops for our tutoring program, plus additional computers in the classroom. Classrooms also have multi-media projectors and Smart Boards available for instruction. Currently we have introduced Ipad devices to the school. We are a member of a nationally recognized family of Christian Education and serve its students with teachers who are qualified, dedicated, caring and certified by the 5th largest private/parochial school system in the United States--Wisconsin. Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS). Offers opportunities for its students to continue their Christian education at Michigan Lutheran Seminary (MLS) while others may attend local public high schools.

After our chapel service earlier this morning, we recognized our students of the month for September.

These four students exhibited an excellent understanding and model of their teachers' daily and weekly procedures in the classroom.

To recognize their work, they received gift cards to are restaurants. Congratulations!

Our Outdoor Service & Church Picnic was this last Sunday, September 13. The Lord blessed us with great weather, good church family, wonderful forgiveness, and nourishing food!

Emanuel Lutheran School was recently awarded a $2,000 grant to fight childhood food insecurity by the Agent Charitable Fund - Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan and the Michigan Farm Bureau Family of Companies. Grant funds will be used to purchase healthy morning and afternoon snacks for students. Our agency nominated Emanuel Lutheran School for the grant is excited to come alongside the school and support their hunger-relief efforts. ❤️
