Good morning Everyone.
We had a great year of studying the Word of God, preparing for sacraments, and building healthy and holy friendships this year with the children of our parish. Today we want to celebrate our kids accomplishment this year and the dedication of our catechists with a little party.
After the Masses conclude today you can come to San Martin Hall by 4 PM for games, food, and fun for our young people of the parish. We will finish up by 6 PM. All with kids under 18 are welcome to celebrate a good year and have a good time together. 🎊🌮🍕🌭🤡

Este año hemos disfrutado de una experiencia maravillosa estudiando la Palabra de Dios, preparándonos para los sacramentos y forjando amistades sanas y santas con los niños de nuestra parroquia. Hoy queremos celebrar a nuestros niños
celebrar los logros de este año y la dedicación de nuestros catequistas con una pequeña fiesta.
Hoy, al terminar las misas, pueden venir al salón San Martín antes de las 4 p. m. para disfrutar de juegos, comida y diversión para los jóvenes de la parroquia. Terminaremos a las 6 p. m. Good evening everyone.
I hope you're enjoying this gorgeous spring weather as we approach the weekend. Just as a reminder applications are due this Sunday (April 19th) for the Gran Sueño Cristo Rey Scholarship.
There will be multiple scholarships available this year to the winning students to help with their costs for higher education in the year ahead at a community college or University.
After reviews of the applications from a team of educators scholarships will be awarded at our Graduation Mass on Sunday, June 14th Here are the requirements for applicants:
1. Current Member of Cristo Rey Church
2. 2026 Graduating senior or current college attendee with a 2.5 grade point or higher.
3. A letter of college acceptance or current college schedule is provided.
4. A letter of recommendation from a non-family member is included.
5. Application is submitted to [email protected] no later than 11:59pm April 19, 2026.

Espero que estén disfrutando de este maravilloso clima primaveral ahora que se acerca el fin de semana. Solo como recordatorio, el plazo para presentar las solicitudes para la Beca Gran Sueño Cristo Rey vence este domingo (19 de abril).
Este año habrá varias becas disponibles para los estudiantes seleccionados, con el fin de ayudarles a sufragar los gastos de su educación superior durante el próximo año en un colegio comunitario o una universidad.
Tras la revisión de las solicitudes por parte de un equipo de educadores, las becas se entregarán en nuestra Misa de Graduación el domingo 14 de junio. Estos son los requisitos para los solicitantes:
1. Ser miembro actual de la Iglesia Cristo Rey.
2. Ser estudiante de último año que se graduará en 2026 o estar cursando actualmente estudios universitarios con un promedio de calificaciones de 2.5 o más.
3. Se debe presentar una carta de aceptación de la universidad o el horario actual de clases.
4. Se incluye una carta de recomendación de alguien que no sea un miembro de la familia.
5. La solicitud debe enviarse a [email protected] a más tardar a las 11:59 p. m. del 19 de abril de 2026.

Este es un último recordatorio sobre el retiro para parejas que se celebrará mañana aquí en Cristo Rey. El retiro se titula "Redimidos para amar" e incluirá una serie de videos, reflexiones y momentos de convivencia con otras parejas de nuestra parroquia y de la zona.
El costo del retiro corre a cargo del grupo «Familias en Misión Apostólica» (FAMA) que tenemos aquí en Cristo Rey e incluye el almuerzo y el servicio de guardería.
El retiro comienza a las 9 y terminará a las 4:30. Vengan a disfrutar de un retiro refrescante con su pareja.

Además, este domingo tendremos un sencillo servicio de la Divina Misericordia de 2:45 a 4:00 p. m. dentro de la iglesia. Habrá una breve reflexión, adoración eucarística, el rosario y la oportunidad de confesarse. Junto con nuestro Santo Padre, recemos por la paz en el mundo y pidamos que se derrame la misericordia sobre aquellos que se vuelven hacia Cristo. ✝️🙏🏼

This is a final reminder about the Couples’ Retreat taking place tomorrow (in Spanish) here at Cristo Rey. The retreat is titled “Redeemed to Love” and will include a series of videos, reflections, and opportunities to spend time with other couples from our parish and the surrounding area.
The cost of the retreat is covered by the “Families in Apostolic Mission” (FAMA) group here at Cristo Rey and includes lunch and childcare. The retreat begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 4:30 p.m. Come enjoy a refreshing retreat with your partner.

In addition, this Sunday we will have a simple Divine Mercy service (Bilingual) from 2:45 to 4:00 p.m. inside the church. There will be a brief reflection, Eucharistic adoration, the Rosary, and an opportunity for confession. Together with our Holy Father, let us pray for peace in the world and ask that mercy be poured out upon those who turn to Christ. ✝️🙏🏼

Una gran oportunidad que tenemos este fin de semana es un retiro para parejas. Está dirigido a parejas casadas o que viven juntas y desean profundizar en su relación con Dios y entre ellos.
