:30 a.m. service features the music of our Choir and Handbell Choir, prayer, scripture readings, and a thought-provoking sermon. We offer Sunday School classes for children of all ages. Communion is offered the first Sunday of every month. Communion at Pilgrim is open to ALL who believe in Jesus Christ and choose to follow His example in living their lives. Owe no one anything, except to love one another, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.
The commandments, "You shall not commit adultery; you shall not murder; you shall not steal; you shall not covet," and any other commandment, are summed up in this word, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."
Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore, love is the fulfilling of the law.

Pilgrim Worship Service August 30, 2026. We filled the service with music as the message. Four bell pieces, two solos by our pianist, and two solos by the pastor along with relevant pastoral advice from the Apostle Paul and Jesus telling us what it takes to follow him.

Pilgrim Worship Service August 23, 2026. We all have significant questions to answer in our lives. We must all answer Jesus' question: "Who do you say that I am?" What we answer determines how we understand Jesus and how we relate to him. We also learn that in the church we all have different jobs to do, but they all serve the one God. We are like different parts of a body which are meant to work together for the good of all.

Pilgrim Worship Service August 16, 2026. We reviewed some of the music of Godspell and did two parables of Jesus as dramatic presentations -- the Pharisee and the Tax Collector and the Good Samaritan.

Pilgrim Worship Service August 9, 2026. We look at the story of Elijah and Jezebel. Elijah runs away from Jezebel and goes to Mt. Horeb to seek the presence of God. We ask where do we find hope?

Pilgrim Worship Service August 2, 2026. Some food for thought. We examine the feeding of the five thousand. We focus on the compassion of Jesus and Jesus telling us: "You give them something to eat". God feeds us and we are commanded to feed people.

Pilgrim Worship Service July 26, 2026. During the Ted talk, we are reminded that to not speak is to speak and to not act is to act. This is true in our personal lives, our social lives, our political decisions and our spirituality.

Pilgrim Worship Service July 19, 2026. We talk about the parable of the wheat and the weeds. A landowner (God) decides to allow the weeds to grow with the wheat until the harvest (day of judgment) because to remove the weeds would harm the wheat. This is why God allows evil in the world. Many people see the world as a field of weeds with some wheat. But God sees the world as a field of wheat with some weeds. God calls on us to be wheat in the world and not weeds.
