Church, I had a phone call from Pastor Bogey Cotney saying that the Christian Service was in need of "Box foods". And he asked us to join The Upper Room Church in helping meet this need. They have can goods and meat but need box food to go with these items. I have spoken to Mrs Cheryl Myers and she said "Anything you can do will help the people in our community." So this Sunday bring your "Boxes of Blessings" to Happy Valley with you this Sunday.

The HVBC Youth are selling hotdog sack lunches! See any of our 412 youth, myself, Cade Clifton, Mj Jones, or Racheal Lynn Jones to buy tickets!

Bags will include:
2 hotdogs
a bag of chips
a snack cake
a water

Ticket sales end September 16th and pickup will be September 26th from 11-2 at Happy Valley Baptist Church in the gym!

We hope everyone who is able can support our youth and help us raise money for such a great cause!

& please share to get the word out! We would love a huge turnout for our kids!!

REVIVE 39 — DAY 11

Today we pause to pray for Fairfax First Baptist Church and her pastor, Kevin Anglin.

Pray that God would strengthen Kevin as he leads and shepherds His people. Pray for the church family at Fairfax First—that they would have unity in Christ and be faithful to His gospel, as they shine light of Christ in their community and beyond.

Personal Prayer Emphasis: A Fresh Love for the Word of God

Jesus said:

“If you continue in my word, you really are my disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” — John 8:31–32 (CSB)

Revival and the Word of God belong together. We cannot expect our hearts to be renewed while neglecting the truth God has given us.

Today, ask God to give you a fresh hunger for His Word—not simply to read it out of routine, but to hear from Him, know Him more deeply, and allow His truth to shape every area of your life.

Ask yourself:

Do I hunger for God’s Word?
Am I continuing in His Word, or merely visiting it occasionally?
Is Scripture shaping the way I think, live, and make decisions?

Blessings of the Back Packs is this Sunday at Happy Valley!!!! Thursday we drove through Lanett and passed out 50 Back Packs at the local gym, playground, neighborhoods where children were playing, even a few local stores in the parking lot. I saw children as well as parents who appreciated just “a little help” before school starts! It reminded me that WE NEED EACH OTHER!!! So make a point to reach out and help someone while expecting NOTHING in return! Together we can make a difference !!!!!

Wow!!! What a great afternoon of softball, fun and fellowship between two churches!!!!!! be.still church and Happy Valley Baptist Church!!! Hard fought game….who won??? Christ WON! He was glorified through the players and the fans. I missed the game since I was at an ordination service for a dear friend! Glad everyone is okay! Might be a little sore tomorrow! 😝 Shoutout to Drew Hall and Casey Hall for putting together a great afternoon! I appreciate both of you! Also shoutout to Hannah Hall for the photos!!!! Be salt and light! Let others see the Jesus in you!!!
