RAINFOREST FALLS VBS at Happy Valley……as of right now, we WILL still be having our last night of VBS. We’re aware of the weather and watching things very closely. Your children’s safety is a top priority for us. We have a plan in place to go too IF things do turn worse. But we’re not expecting to need those plans! We hope that you’ll join us tonight at 6!!!!

Food for thought that another Pastor posted…..

One of the clearest signs consumerism has shaped the church is how quickly people leave communities the moment discomfort appears.

A sermon confronts sin.
Leadership disappoints them.
Relationships become difficult.
The music changes.
Someone hurts their feelings.

And instead of pursuing reconciliation, endurance, and maturity, many simply move on to another church experience.

But covenant community was never meant to function like consumerism.

The New Testament assumes believers will struggle, forgive, bear burdens, and grow together over time.

That is how spiritual maturity is formed.

Men of Happy Valley!!!! Please mark your calendars and celebrate with us Logan Gosdin as he steps out of being single to being married!!! The ladies always have their “wedding showers”, which is cool and everything, but WHAT ABOUT THE GROOM???? Hahahaha Seriously….Aj Hadaway is throwing Logan a “Tool Party” on May 31st at Happy Valley! Now between Logan’s dad, Josh (JoshuaandJennifer Gosdin) and his granddad, Danny Gosdin, they probably have every tool in the book! I’ve heard it said that “Harbor Freight calls them when they need a tool”!!! 😂 😂 😂 ok not really…. But Logan is starting off from pretty much scratch. In July, him and Reese Bryson will become ONE, so we would like to bless Logan with some tools!

Someone asked me today “Like what kind of tools?” He needs any and everything. From:
Screw drivers set
Garden hose
Rakes
Drills,
Wrenches,
Saws,
Lawnmower
Chainsaw
Sanders
Etc etc etc
Whatever you think would be good for a young man starting off! Knowing Logan, he would be grateful for anything that you decide to give! So thanks in advance and please plan to be there!!!
