This Sunday, May 10, Pastor Don Fitzkee preaches "Invested" in both morning worship services, drawing from Philippians 1:3-11 — where Paul described the early church as "partners in God's grace." The sermon explores the concept of partnership (koinonia) and what it means to be not merely affiliated, but fully invested in one another.

In our 10:30a Sanctuary Worship service, Mary Ellen DeWitt and Pastor Ron Bohannon will lead both of our Traditional Worship services. The Carillon Bell Choir opens the prelude with "O God Beyond All Praising" (arr. Jason W. Krug), and the Chancel Choir sings "The Lord Is My Shepherd" from J. S. Bach's Cantata 112, along with an introit and benediction.

What might your response be if you had just been beaten and thrown into prison? According to Acts 16:16-34, Paul and Silas prayed and sang "Songs in the Night." Inspired by their witness (with a little help from an earthquake), a jailer and his family came to Christ. Pastor Ron Bohannon preaches his inaugural sermon as interim pastor. Carole Deck and Pastor Nancy Hess lead worship, and the Chancel Choir sings "When in Our Music God Is Glorified" (Harriet Ziegenhals), along with a choral introit and benediction.
