Let my teaching fall like rain,
not in storms that break the ground,
but in gentle drops that find their way
into soil already waiting.

Let my words become dew at dawn,
quiet upon the waking fields,
where every blade of tender green
is strengthened without sound.

Let truth descend like softest rain
on herb and hidden root,
not rushing, but refining life
in patient, steady fruit.

And may my speech be shower and breeze,
that grass may rise and grow,
not from force, but grace that comes
where humble waters flow.
