Call to prayer! 💛
I have been contemplating what it means to have confident hope. Do those two words even go together? Romans 12:12 says “Do not forget to rejoice, for hope is always just around the corner. Hold up through the hard times that are coming, and devote yourself to prayer.” I struggle with hope because I am a fixer. I want to solve the problem and fix whatever problem is in front of me, but in doing that I do not give myself permission to rejoice in goodness or blessings happening around me. Psalm 30:5 says, “ His wrath , you see, is fleeting, but his grace lasts a lifetime. The deepest pain may linger through the night, but joy greets the soul with the smile of morning.”
In this season of life, I am holding to the promise in these scriptures, hope is around the corner and joy greets the soul with the smile of morning. Where do you need God’s grace, his joy, or confident hope? I do not know what tomorrow will bring, but I know who holds tomorrow. It is in that knowledge that I can have confident hope.

🌳 Our Walk-A-Thon fundraiser is right around the corner! 🌳😍
Saturday, October 10 at 8am, we will walk a 5k (3 miles) together as we walk around the beautiful Lake Mirror in Lakeland, Florida. This will support our efforts to bring healing, hope, and wholeness through Christ’s love to everyone we encounter! 💛

Register with a friend, spouse, or even your tribe and come enjoy a beautiful morning in downtown Lakeland. Your $30 registration will include a 61 Miles shirt, goodie bag, and snack. 👕🍊 We will have prayer prompts available which will follow our framework of Hear, Heal, Grow, Give if you would like to turn your walk into a prayer walk for 61A!
