🌊 This Sunday! | Church-Wide Flood Bucket Assembly! 🌊

Join us Sunday, August 3, 2025 in Room C-201C as we come together to prepare flood buckets.

🪣 First Crew – 10:30 a.m.
Help place supplies into the buckets.
🪣 Second Crew – Noon

Finish assembling the buckets and move them to the Welcome Center.
The room is already set up and ready for you – all that’s missing is your helping hands! These buckets will make a big difference for families during natural disasters.

👉 Invite a friend, roll your sleeves up, and take part in this life-giving ministry. While we hope these buckets are never needed, they can be a lifeline when disaster strikes.

✨ And after worship… stick around and roll up your sleeves as we come together to assemble flood buckets for those impacted by disasters.
Two opportunities to serve:
🛠️ First Crew – 10:30 AM: Place supplies in the buckets
🛠️ Second Crew – Noon: Finish assembling buckets and move them to the Welcome Center

📍 Where: Fellowship Center (C201C for flood bucket assembly)
🕚 When: 11:00 AM Worship, with serving before and after
💛 Don’t miss this opportunity to worship, grow, and serve with your church family. See you Sunday at The Current!

đź‘‘ This Sunday at The Current đź‘‘
Sermon Series: David: A Royal Mess
Message: The Ark and the Beginning
📖 2 Samuel 6:14–22

Hey, Current congregation! We’re preparing the table for worship this Sunday and continuing our message series David: A Royal Mess.

This week, we’re looking at the story where King David brings the Ark of the Covenant back to Jerusalem. His over-the-top celebration gives us a glimpse into what happens when victory, joy, and worship collide. Have you ever been so caught up in a win that you made a decision you wouldn’t normally make? What happens when a king does that—especially one after God’s own heart?

Let’s explore that together this Sunday at 11AM in the Fellowship Center or online.

Hope to see you Sunday!

HAPPY EASTER SEASON!

We begin a new Message Series, this Sunday, called WE ARE THE CHURCH! We'll take 3 weeks to look at how we share the Story, Experience, and Love of Jesus with others.

This Sunday, we'll talk about the Stories we love. What's your favorite Bible story, and why? But also, what's your favorite story, period? What do you like about it? What brings you back, even if you've read/watched/listened to it over and over...?

You'll have a chance to share why you love your favorite story in worship!

We had a powerful Palm Sunday, the beginning of Holy Week, and the end of our series JESUS IS FOR LOSERS. All the signs that had sayings and slogans about what it means to be a Winner were literally turned around with the words of Jesus.
