🌟 SERVE TEAM SPOTLIGHT 🌟

This week we're celebrating Janis Thomas!👏

After visiting several OSC campuses, Janis found her home at OSC Midtown and quickly discovered a passion for serving. Whether she’s greeting guests, serving at special events, supporting prison ministry, helping children through InnerFaith, or serving on the homeless ministry team, her heart is simple: to share God’s love through a smile and a helping hand.

“Serving and helping others has always been one of my gifts. It brings me joy to spread love and a smile.”

✨ Fun Fact: Janis has always been afraid of bridges and water, but recently she’s been conquering those fears by going on cruises and already has several more planned!

Thank you, Janis, for your joyful heart and willingness to serve wherever God calls you! OSC Midtown is better because of YOU! 🤍🙌

📢SERVE TEAM SPOTLIGHT🌟

Meet Johnathan Pitre, one of our incredible Ushers at OSC Midtown!

For Johnathan, serving is a way to show his love for God and people. He believes that “a warm greeting, a helping hand, and a friendly smile” can help create an atmosphere where others feel welcomed and experience God’s presence.

His heart is that everyone who walks through our doors knows they matter and feels at home in our church family.

🚲 Fun Fact: Johnathan enjoys cycling and spending time with his family.

Week 2 of Rooted challenged us to remember that we don’t get the children we want—we get the children we raise💙

When we choose to be planted in God’s house, build relationships within the church, and prioritize spiritual family, we’re showing the next generation what it means to follow Jesus!!

What we’re building today will impact generations tomorrow. 🌱
