Are you Faithful to your Church?

You need to be faithful to your church. Romans 12:5 says, “We, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.” Simply put: I belong to you, and you belong to me. So don’t say, “It’s none of your business what I do, pastor.” It is plenty of my business, just like what I do is plenty of your business. We are members one to another in the Body of Christ, and we owe to one another a fearful loyalty. The Bible teaches that we are to be faithful to the fellowship with other believers; we are to attend a local church.

Do you know what is happening today? Some people claim to be Christians who know and love the Lord Jesus Christ, but they do not belong to nor are they faithful to a local church. Such a thing was unheard of in the Bible. To be a Christian meant that you were faithful to the fellowship that you attended—when people gathered, you were there. If you stopped attending, they assumed that you were lost, that you were an apostate, that you went back on God. Now people say, “Well I, I believe in Christianity, but I am not a member of a local church.” But we need to be faithful to the local church. We should be in the house of God on a regular basis, bringing in our tithe, our Bibles, our love, and our influence as we gather week after week.

What is the difference between being a member of a church and being faithful to a church?
Where does church fall in your priority list right now? What has made it difficult to be faithful to your church?

“We allow the devil to persuade us to neglect prayer! He makes us believe that we can do more by our own efforts than by our prayers - by our in*******se with men than by our intercession with God.”

Yes there is pain in the City over sin and wickedness But We have been given a promise through Jesus!

Revelation-21-4 holds a promise of restoration, where the current world will pass away and God will bring about a new reality. The verse states, “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

Many people dismiss these words as mere wishful thinking, but we as believers find solace in this promise amidst the current brokenness. The
fact that God will one day wipe away every tear gives us hope. Let us rest in this promise that God will make all things new. My heart breaks for every killing and every evil thing done under the Sun by I will continue to believe God’s promises. Pastor Daniel Kelly

Lean into people that challenge you to grow
Be around people that have fire.
Because when you’re cold, you can get around them to keep you warm.
Bad company corrupts good morals.
You must pay attention to your company in order to grow.
Bad relationships can hinder our growth with God.
Do not compromise your relationships.
God will make you uncomfortable & inconvenience you, in order to bring you to the other side of His blessings.
Learn to Tap In, not Tap Out.
Be willing to be challenged.

“So then, let us aim for harmony in the church and try to build each other up.”
