Last weekend, Pastor Jim Burgen challenged us to stop fighting against each other and start fighting for each other.

Today, we keep going.

We’re in week two of our marriage series, More Than a Game, and this conversation isn’t just for married people. It’s for anyone who wants to become healthier in the relationships that matter most.

“The cross is God’s answer to the value of one.” — Pastor Karl Romeus

What a way to wrap up our Get in the Fight series this weekend. Pastor Karl reminded us that God may already be at work in the person He’s put on our heart. Our job isn’t to inspect the soil. It’s to scatter the seed, start the conversation, and point people toward Jesus.

So as we close this series, the question is simple: Who’s your one?

One name. One prayer. One invitation. One conversation. One step of obedience.

However long it takes, this one is worth fighting for.

The backpacks have been packed, the first-day photos have been taken, and we’re officially a couple weeks into the school year. 📚✏️

As routines start to settle in and the excitement of a new year gives way to the everyday rhythms of school, this is a good moment to keep praying for the teachers and school staff pouring into our kids, for the parents and caregivers juggling so much, and for every student finding their footing in a new year.
