We remember the families who continue to carry that loss and give thanks for the brave first responders, service members, and everyday heroes who showed extraordinary courage on that darkest day—and in the years since.

The Diocese of Lafayette is pleased to announce a Youth Conference for high school students, which will be held at the Diocese of Lafayette Chancery at 1408 Carmel Dr., Lafayette, Louisiana, on September 26th.

The conference will commence with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass Celebrated by the Bishop, followed by two keynote speakers and breakout sessions hosted by a panel of Youth Ministers from across the Diocese. Dominos Pizza will be provided as lunch.

Registration for the event is on a first-come, first-served basis, with only 200 available spots.

Dear Lord, we thank You and praise You for giving us St. Raymond Penyafort as an example of holiness. We ask You to hear the prayers he brings to You on our behalf.

St. Raymond, you devoted your life to serving God and His Church as a Dominican priest. You did a lot of important work for confessors and in the area of canon law. You served the Church faithfully for many years.

Please bring all of our petitions before the throne of God, and we particularly ask today that you pray that the Church may be strong and her members holy.

Pray for us, that we may always do all we can to serve God and His Church. Pray that we advance in every virtue we need for holiness each day.

And we especially ask in this novena for (mention your intentions here).
