This Week’s Message: Spiritual Gifts and the Body of Christ

This Sunday we will be looking at Romans 12:3-8. Paul ties life in the church, the body of Christ, very closely to the spiritual gifts that God gives to His people. Join us, as we look at this relationship between spiritual gifts and the body of Christ and as we worship the Lord together. The Sunday morning service begins at 10:50 a.m.

This Weeks’ Message: Right Thinking

This Sunday we will be looking at Romans 12:3-6. After speaking of the renewing of the mind in verse 2, Paul then gives instruction about right thinking concerning self (verse 3). Immediately afterward, he speaks of the body of Christ. For the believer, right thinking about self cannot be divorced from how we think about the body of Christ. We invite you to join us Sunday at 10:50 a.m., as we worship the Lord and examine His Word.

This Week’s Message: Thinking about the Will of God

This Sunday we will focus on the words at the end of Romans 12:2—" that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” How do we discover the will of God? That will be our starting point. We invite you to join us this Sunday at 10:50 a.m., as we worship the Lord together.

This Week’s Message: Don’t Be Conformed, But Be Transformed

This Sunday we will begin to look at the command of Romans 12:2, which states: “Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind…” We invite you to join us this Sunday at 10:50 a.m., as we worship the Lord together.

This Week’s Message: Worship and Service to God

This Sunday we will be looking at the closing words of Romans 12:1 – “which is your spiritual worship,” while noting that some other translations read, “which is your reasonable service.” We will explore the meaning of these words and how they fit together with the rest of verse 1. We invite you to join us this Sunday at 10:50 a.m., as we worship the Lord together.

This Week’s Message: Present Your Bodies as a Sacrifice to God

This Sunday we will plunge into Romans 12:1, where Paul, in light of God’s mercies, urges his readers to present their bodies as a sacrifice to God. We invite you to join us at 10:50 this Sunday morning, as we worship the Lord together.

This Week’s Message: Doctrinal Preparation for Godly Living

This week we will be moving into the practical section of Paul’s letter to the Romans, beginning with 12:1. We will focus on the word “therefore” and how it is the hinge between the doctrinal and practical sections of Romans. You are invited to join us this Sunday at 10:50 a.m., as we worship the Lord together.

This Week’s Message: Who Are the People of God?

We wrapped up Romans 11 a few weeks ago. However, there is still this lingering question: Who are the people of God? We read in chapter 11 that God has not rejected His people and that all Israel will be saved. Is Israel still the people of God? What about those of us who have been saved through the blood of Christ and are a part of the church? Are we the people of God? If it is true of both Israel and the church, does one have priority over the other? These are the questions we will be exploring this Sunday. We invite you to join us at 10:50 a.m., as we worship the Lord together.
