Priestly Ordination of Deacon Kyle Lang

We pray for Deacon Kyle Lang as he prepares to celebrate his Ordination to the Holy Priesthood this Saturday! We give thanks to God for the gift of a new priest for the Diocese of La Crosse. The harvest is abundant. The laborers are few. 🌾

Celebrating our 2026-2027 FOCUS team!

Tori, our new Team Director (center), and Maria (center left) will be returning to campus this fall, and we welcome Elliot and Wally to UW-La Crosse for the first time!
Joseph (cowboy hat) is a current student who will be graduating UW-L in December and will then be placed at another campus in the midwest region in the spring.

Today concludes the feast of the Sacred Heart Novena. Join in prayer at 3pm as the Bishops consecrate our Nation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Today the U.S. bishops will consecrate the United States of America to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, joined by parishes and faithful across the country. The act of consecration takes place as part of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

We’re halfway through the Sacred Heart Novena for our country! 🇺🇸
Father John and Father Billy are counting along. The Novena ends on June 11th as the Bishops consecrate our nation to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Even if you haven’t started yet, don’t let it stop you from jumping in and joining us. Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to be united in prayer with our Church as we pray for our country on its 250th birthday year.

Rosaries needed 💙

Our friends at Bethany Riverside pray the rosary together each Thursday following their 10am Mass, and we’re running out of rosaries! (A good problem to have).

If you have an extra rosary or two at home you no longer need, we would be grateful to pass them along. Rosary donations can be left in the baskets at the Roncalli Newman entrance. Thank you very much!

Today is the first day of the Sacred Heart Novena for Our Nation 🇺🇸

From the desk of Fr. Billy Dodge:
"As our nation approaches the 250th anniversary of its founding, the bishops of the United States are consecrating our country to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. There is a novena of prayers from June 3 - June 11, culminating in the consecration on June 12. This act of consecration reminds us that the Heart of Christ is the source of all love, mercy, healing, and hope. At a time when our nation faces many challenges and divisions, we entrust ourselves anew to the Heart that was pierced for our salvation.

Bishop Battersby has asked the faithful of our diocese to join in this effort by praying a Sacred Heart prayer and participating in a novena leading up to the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart. I encourage every parishioner and family to take part.
