Today is the first day of the Sacred Heart Novena for Our Nation 🇺🇸
From the desk of Fr. Billy Dodge:
"As our nation approaches the 250th anniversary of its founding, the bishops of the United States are consecrating our country to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. There is a novena of prayers from June 3 - June 11, culminating in the consecration on June 12. This act of consecration reminds us that the Heart of Christ is the source of all love, mercy, healing, and hope. At a time when our nation faces many challenges and divisions, we entrust ourselves anew to the Heart that was pierced for our salvation.
Bishop Battersby has asked the faithful of our diocese to join in this effort by praying a Sacred Heart prayer and participating in a novena leading up to the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart. I encourage every parishioner and family to take part.
Sacred Heart prayers can be found on the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) website at:

and the Sacred Heart Novena is available at:

Just as the Eucharist reveals Christ's abiding presence among us, devotion to the Sacred Heart draws us into the depths of His love for each person and for the whole world."
Several of our parishioners are tracking their novenas on coloring sheets!
