Meet Tara Templin, the lay director of the fall LIFE event September 19, 2026!
My name is Tara Templin, and I am blessed to be the mother of two beautiful daughters, Layla, 23, and Cambry, 16.
I accepted Christ as my Savior at the age of five. While I truly believed, for many years I leaned more on my parents’ faith than on developing a personal relationship with Him.
Life brought its share of heartache. After two divorces and many hardships, I found myself walking a long, dusty road. Through years of poor choices and painful consequences, God never stopped pursuing me. Then, in His perfect love and mercy, He broke me—in the most beautiful way.
He brought me to my knees, stripped away everything I had been holding onto, and made me new. It was a complete and total surrender. In that moment, I discovered that true freedom is only found in Jesus Christ.
Today, I am deeply involved in my church in Noblesville, where God has given me a passion for meeting people right where they are. I love sharing my testimony of His faithfulness—how He protected me through some very dark seasons, redeemed my brokenness, and continues to mold me into the woman He created me to be.
I am truly humbled and honored to have been asked to be a part of this event. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to share what the Lord has done in my life. My prayer is that as you hear my story, you won’t simply see my journey—you’ll see God’s faithfulness, His mercy, and His redeeming love. If my testimony encourages even one person to take one step closer to Jesus, then all the glory belongs to Him.
Jesus is my everything. Every breakthrough, every blessing, and every step forward is because of Him. My life is living proof that God restores, renews, and transforms those who surrender to Him.
My life verse is:
“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10 🧡
